Summary: Responsible for generating statistical summary tables and data listings for statistical and clinical report writing. Create and modify SAS programs to carry out the statistical analysis plan. Investigate issues with the data and report findings to team. Document steps taken and proof/crosscheck results. Present new programs /techniques to other analysts. Interface with data management group on data qualification and quality assurance purpose. Cross check statistical tables, listings and graphs as a qualification/ quality assurance procedure.

Responsibilities: Responsible for generating tables and listings for statistical and clinical report writing and clinical database validation. Create new SAS programs and modify the existing in-house SAS programs to carry out the statistical analysis plan; Execute (or oversee execution of) the analysis plan for research studies. Assess feasibility of analysis plan and timeline associated with the plan. Investigate issues with the data and report findings to team. Document steps taken and proof/crosscheck results. Draft and review methods section of reports. Present new programs/techniques to other analysts. Interface with data management group on data qualification and quality assurance purpose. Cross check statistical tables, listings and graphs as a qualification/quality assurance procedure.

Qualifications: B.S. degree in a related field with courses in statistical analysis. Minimum of 3 years of SAS programming in a pharmaceutical/clinical environment.
