The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), a global leader in Christian programming and humanitarian relief, is seeking a Senior Data Mining Analyst to perform data mining, statistical modeling, and strategy development for targeted marketing and fundraising intelligence.
This motivated professional will demonstrate the following: develop and execute statistical models to analyze information related to CRM strategies; evaluate reporting needs and perform segmentation analysis, donor movement analysis, and donor value analysis; and develop advanced account management, segmentation and tracking solutions that can deliver measureable results.
Essential Requirements for Successful Performance:
Education: A minimum of a four-year college degree in Marketing or Statistics; Preferably an MBA or a Master’s in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research
Experience and Knowledge: • Experience using sophisticated database manipulation and statistical data mining tools • Extensive experience in database marketing analysis and SQL programming • Extensive knowledge of various segmentation software, including Claritas, Unica, SAS • Experience with data mining and predictive models development (regression, decision trees, clustering, etc…) • Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
Skills and Abilities: • Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills that allow clear and concise presentation of conclusions and recommendations • Ability to verbally communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner • Proven ability to write reports, synthesize information and prepare presentations clearly and concisely • Must be willing to work as a member of a team where collaboration with others is critical for success • Familiar with relational database concepts and complex business application architectures • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite including Word, Excel, and Project
