Here are some tips for How to share your SAS knowledge with your professional network.
Is this useful? I find this frame of reference (by product, as defined for license contracts) to be one of the weaknesses of the help/documentation from SAS.
For example, people have to know that ODS is part of the Base product, whereas MS Excel data import/export is not. Hardly obvious.
By the way, Base does not seem to be in the list.
- Is By Product really the best title for this article? To me a by-product is a secondary or incidental result or a side-effect. Surely these are SAS products not by-products. So would that be a better name? Also, it would be a good idea to explain this list, and where it has been sourced from, rather than simply having a page of links point to mostly non-existent pages. What is the purpose of each product, and why are there so many products for SAS/ACCESS? - Cameron 21:13, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
- Good point. I should have thought of that. Thanks for thinking of that and making the update. --Don Henderson 10:14, 19 August 2012 (EDT)
