Robert M. Hamer, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychiatry and Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina. He co-chaired SUGI 13 with Gerry Hobbs, Ph.D., of West Virginia University. He specializes in clinical trials, particularly with respect to psychiatric medications. He consults extensively for the pharmaceutical industry in the design, implementation, statistical analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials.
