Here are some tips for How to share your SAS knowledge with your professional network.
Using SAS Views and SQL Views
Views are a way of simplifying access to your organization's database while maintaining security. With new and easier ways to access data, more users are able to get their data directly from the organization database. This data often requires some knowledge of the "rules" for summarizing and presenting the information. These rules may not be readily available to or known by all staff. Additionally, database structures can be complex and difficult to navigate. One way to mange data access is to set up views that govern how the data is extracted. Views can, also, make it easier to access complex data stored in a database by summarizing the data for the user. You can create SAS views and SQL views that are transparent to your user and allow you to manage data access.
